About CIS

CIS Secure Computing, Inc. is an NSA Certified TEMPEST Manufacturing and Test facility located in Dulles, Virginia. CIS designs and builds products to meet Government security and environmental specifications including TEMPEST NSTISSAM 1-92 Level I, AMSG 720B, TEMPEST 2/95, ZONE, DO-160, MIL-188, TSG and other EMI, repackaging, or form factor requirements. We have a range of standard products and specialize in build-to-order solutions to meet the exact needs of our customers.

Our product families fall into 4 main categories:
• TEMPEST Computers, Networking, VoIP, and VTC Solutions,
• Air Worthy/DO-160 rated non-avionics devices,
• COMSEC Ancillary components, and
• Build-to Order solutions & custom UPS products.
We also provide design and testing services for products required to meet a range of Government and Military specifications.

Our TEMPEST products include computers, servers, displays, network switches, routers, VoIP Telephony, VTC (videoconferencing), Secure Video switches, and other communication devices. These products are often used in Executive Travel Packages. Many of our TEMPEST solutions are also available as Air Worthy DO-160 products. We specialize in designing products to meet the stringent shock, vibration, and EMI requirements for fixed wing and rotary wing aircraft.

Our COMSEC products include Crypto housings with power supplies, specialized cables, and COMSEC support for nearly all Type 1 Encryption devices. In many cases, Commercial Off-the Shelf (COTS) products meet the functional requirements of our customers, but do not meet their environmental or dimensional specifications. CIS specializes in build-to-order repackaging of COTS technologies to meet the unique requirements of the customer. If a COTS solution is not available, CIS also designs and manufactures its own printed circuit boards, electronics, and other components to meet the requirements.
